The Strangest Things We Can Find On UChicago Marketplace
Marketplace is the UChicago student (and professor, and TA, and community member) place for selling and buying stuff in Hyde Park. Amongst the apartments, mini-fridges, used bikes, and sofas that line the website, you can stumble upon some pretty weird bargains:
- American Accent Training: $25
- 2 Wigs (for some reason): $5
- Stuffed Dolphins, Whales, Walruses: $0.50
- Need a Costume? Be the Grim Reaper!: $5.00 (note for the easily frightened: the advertisement mentions that this costume is Very Spooky!)
- Trash Can: $5
- WANTED: Bean Bag Chair and Legos
