The House system really helped UChicago become a second home for me - a home away from home. There were constantly people around to hang out with, go downtown with, chat with. You become so close to the people in your House because you eat with them, live with them, and play intramural sports with them! They really become your family here at school and are always there for you.

5 Reasons To Go And See The Invisible Man

It’s at Court Theatre, which just happens to be a stone’s throw away from Max Palevsky, Pierce and Ratner Gym. Who doesn’t love professional theatre right on campus?

It’s a world premiere, adapted from the novel (authored by Ralph Ellison) by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Oren Jacoby.

According to these photos, the staging is conceptually and aesthetically beautiful.

Two words: student discounts. Some nights/ days are even free, and you can buy tickets here. Date night?

And finally, the Chicago Tribune calls it a “must-see”, so you most definitely must see it.

Life at Hogwarts

This beautiful self-titled series of photographs was taken by Aumer S.

Can anything be better than Stuart, Harper, and fairy lights in the snow?

How many trees are there on campus?
Chicago is known as the “City in a Garden” so it’s fitting that the campus that bears its name is, itself, a certified botanic garden. If you can tell us how many trees there are on campus, we’ll be mighty impressed…

Math and Biology Pickup Lines
The Class of 2016 Early Application admits have been sharing their knowledge:
If I had to choose between RNA and DNA, I’d choose RNA because it has U in it.
According to the second law of thermodynamics, you’re supposed to share your hotness with me.
I wish I were a derivative so I could lie tangent to your curves.
I don’t know if you’re in my range, but I’d sure like to take you back to my domain.
Babe, we’re like a substrate and enzyme ‘cause we fit together perfectly.
