What’s in a name? Ever been to a party at the Toolshed? Had pancakes at the Shtetl? Hung out with wrestlers at the Unit? The Jericho? Moomers? The Mansion? The Half-Way House? The Watchtower? The BroPad? The Pepperland? The Dynasty? These are or were actual places. When UChicagoans move off campus (usually in their third year, although many stay in housing all four years - it’s guaranteed), they will often gift their student apartments with a unique name. Hyde Park is home to hundreds of hilarious addresses. What would you name yours?
